A particular mega organisation was very much in the news recently. Many people were concerned for various reasons. There are many people who questioned me about the case, of which my answer was, ‘What has it got to do with me?’ I told them to ask the person in charge of the organisation instead.
We really have to be careful of why we exhibit great interest in something. Is it a matter of curiosity or are we begin busybodies? Is it looked upon with a subconscious desire to judge? We are neither God nor were we appointed judge; it is not for us to make any judgment on the case aforementioned. Let us learn to leave that to the relevant authorities. Meanwhile, it is for us to pray for the affected disciples of Jesus Christ that they will not lose faith in God.
It is easy for some to feel angry or betrayed during such times. I encourage you to feel otherwise. It is God who is in charge and not us. Why should we try to do the job that God should be doing? Our duty is to enjoy God and glorify Him forever. Yes, we can be angry like Jesus did but make sure that we get our facts correct first. Otherwise, we will be made to look like fools.
If you are indignant about the way the organisation uses its fund, then ask what can you do about it. A man complained in the newspaper forum about the organization that he is attending and lamented on the way the funds were managed. My question to him is that if he is not happy about it, he should not contribute to the fund and leave the place regardless of how entertaining the shows are.
Brothers and sisters, be wise and cautious. Look at what the Bible had taught about potential pitfalls and avoid them.
God bless!
